Tulsa Welding School is the largest welding school in the United States. The programs offered are electro-mechanical technologies, a professional welder, a professional welder with pipe fitting, refrigeration technologies, and electrical applications. Their programs lasts from 7-10 months and offer flexible class scheduling. Financial aid and veteran benefits are available. Tulsa Welding School offers an intensive Career Service Department to help their graduates prepare for and obtain a job.
The Electrical Applications (EA) program, available at the Jacksonville campus only, contains seven (7) phase term courses, 30 weeks for day students or 45 weeks for evening students, and 27 semester credit hours. The objective of the EA program is to train and prepare students for entry-level or trainee positions in the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industry.
Students completing this program should have an understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, residential and commercial wiring applications, voice, video, and data cabling systems, the application of motors, lighting, and devices that control them as well as exposure to various types of transformers. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a Diploma.
