Aviation Electronics Technology Program
As aircraft technology advances both with the electronic systems of traditional aircraft and the emerging technology related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), so does the need for certified technicians. Spartan College’s avionics program offers a fast-track approach that can help you develop the technical skills employers seek in this field in just 15 months. You'll develop this expertise in our labs where you'll enjoy a simulated work environment offering an emphasis on the most critical troubleshooting skills. You'll be trained by professionals with experience who will ground you in basic electronics theory that you can apply to an entry-level career in areas like wind energy or avionics. At Spartan, you'll study essential avionics concepts in classes that address topics such as:
- Solid state electronics
- Gyroscopes and autopilot systems
