Tulsa Welding School (TWS) was founded in 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma by two welders to meet the demand for skilled tradespeople in the welding industry. Since then, TWS has become a multi-campus institution that trains students in the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for entry-level positions in the skilled trades:
TWS has expanded its programs and opened three new campuses to meet the growing demand not only for welders, but also for technicians in the HVAC/R and welding industries. Tulsa Welding School Jacksonville was opened in 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida, Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center was opened in 2014 in Houston, Texas and now Tulsa Welding School Dallas is open as of 2023 in Dallas, Texas.
This 15-week program teaches students how to install, maintain, and repair electrical power lines. Students who complete the Electrical Lineworker program will have several valuable certifications to prove their credentials and the chance to work in industries like electric power generation, transmission and distribution, and power and construction. The EL program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of utility power transmission and distribution construction, troubleshooting, and commercial electrical maintenance and repair.

The Electrical Technologies program prepares students for entry-level job opportunities as an electrician. In as few as 7 months of hands-on training at Tulsa Welding School, you could be trained in the skills you need to maintain and service residential, commercial, and industrial electrical equipment.
