Remington College’s Facility Maintenance diploma program can help prepare you for a career in the building maintenance industry as a Facility Maintenance Technician or Building Maintenance Technician.
In as few as nine months, students study and practice through hands-on labs and coursework. This material provides the background knowledge and skills to perform general maintenance and repair work. Because Facility Maintenance Technicians find, diagnose, and repair building issues, people who like solving problems and working with their hands may find career satisfaction in this field. If you think you might enjoy fixing mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues, or working with tools, consider completing your maintenance technician courses at Remington College.
Remington College’s Process Technology degree program offers training in how to monitor and control processing equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, boilers, and furnaces. Our goal is to prepare graduates for jobs as a plant or systems operator, power plant distributor or dispatcher, or chemical technician.* Learn from experienced process technicians who provide support and help the wheels of industry to function seamlessly. Imagine yourself at the heart of it all, working to ensure the smooth operation of an industrial plant! Several manufacturing and production plants today seek skilled journeymen and women to monitor, control, and troubleshoot instrumentation boards, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, controls, alarms, and similar specialized equipment.
If you’re interested in how things work and enjoy mechanical and electrical operations, you can build on those skills and gain the prestige of a degree with Remington College’s 18-month Process Technology associate degree.
Remington College’s Facility Maintenance and Technology degree blends classroom instruction with hands-on training to provide our students the opportunity to develop many of the skills that Facility Maintenance Technicians need.
Our Associate Degree program combines practical hands-on building maintenance training with coursework in small business principles to help prepare students who seek advancement opportunities or independent employment within this growing field.
